História:
Walt Disney tinha como o objetivo construir um parque dedicado as novas ideias e tecnologias do futuro, e ainda concientizar os visitantes sobre a necessidade de preservação do meio ambiente.
Tanto é que Epcot é uma sigla "Experimental Prototype of communiy of Tomorrow" ("Protótipo experimental da Comudade do Amanhã.")E hoje é a mesma coisa mas de um jeito diferente, com países colocados lado a lado para a busca de um mundo melhor!

Áreas temáticas:
As áreas temáticas são apenas duas: A Future World nessa área temática é tudo sobre o futuro, e também mostra muitas tecnologias do futuro também e a World Showcase esta ´qrea temática vale a pena ir, são 11 paí ses: México, Noruega, China, Alemanha, Itália, Estados Unidos, Japão, Marrocos, França, Reino Unido e Canadá.
